this life of mine

THE FUN HAS BEGUN.

i have been so very busy this semester- fulfilling my goal of making the most of it and having FUN for sure :)

i went out in the community on friday to give fliers to the local businesses for my daddy daughter dance. i am so excited for it. (they are too)

this is Noah!
he came into the world on Wednesday. welcome beautiful! {i cannot believe my sister has a REAL baby, not a doll like we used to play with what seems like yesterday.}

her baby.
my baby!
(blossomed Thursday! still haven't named her, but she brings beauty to my life for which i thank God for.)
precious.
i learn so much from my nephews.
{josh asked on friday "mamma, who is cassie marrying?" yes, thank you josh. that is a good question. please let me know when you receive some insights on that.}
my first time ice skating!
{why is ice skating a romantic activity? is it the cold? or perhaps the physics of gliding across the ice being pulled by anothers hand? i dont know but i like roller blading better.}
tori & i have a bucket list this semester, this was one check off of the list! we rode our bikes to this run down ghetto looking convenient store and got homemade burgers. it was fun=) {my favorite part was that the lady who made them did not even wear gloves and we got to watch her make them.. now that's real.}
basketball games! go knights!
a few new wonderful additions to our house this semester [have kept the kitchen cleaner], for that i'm thankful.
first pizza night!
{apron by: mom}
ahh!! The First Freedom Awards Gala was such a NEAT experience. you can read a little bit more about it here http://scoop.svu.edu/qa-first-freedom-center-gala
but to sum it up, i am grateful to have the freedoms i do to practice the religion i choose. i met some amazing people that night who shared incredible experiences. one man i met from Baghdad had been held hostage, had a gun to his head, burried his own family members, been in prison where people had fingers and toes chopped off, and the list goes on- all for the cause of religious freedom.
i cannot complain.
{we had a little fun at the reception before hand.. i think the bar tender was getting annoyed with us... "what can you make us that's non-alcoholic?" and boooyyy were they good!}
